We started PA Bernedoodles because we became completely obsessed with this breed — the way they read a room, the way they love a family, the way they seem to just fit wherever they land. That obsession turned into a mission to breed them the right way, and that mission hasn't changed.
We're a family operation rooted in central Pennsylvania, and every decision we make comes back to one thing: producing dogs that families will cherish for life.
Our Facility
Our puppies are born and raised in a clean, state-of-the-art facility built specifically with their health and comfort in mind. It's not a barn. It's not a basement. It's a purpose-built space we're proud to show anyone.
Our Parents
Our dogs are well cared for, well rested, and genuinely loved. Mothers receive proper breaks between litters, and every dog in our program gets individualized attention and daily care. That investment shows in the temperament of the puppies they produce.
Our Standards
Every parent dog is comprehensively health tested before ever producing a litter. Genetic panels, OFA certifications, and ongoing vet care aren't optional extras — they're the baseline.

What We Believe
Temperament is everything. A beautiful puppy that isn't emotionally balanced isn't what we're after. We select for calm, confident, loving temperaments and reinforce those traits through early socialization and daily human contact from day one.
Health testing is non-negotiable. We test every parent dog — not because it looks good on a website, but because it's simply the right thing to do. Embark genetic panels and OFA certifications are standard practice here, not a selling point.
The early weeks shape everything. What happens in those first eight weeks — the handling, the sounds, the socialization — builds a foundation that lasts a lifetime. We take that seriously with every single litter.
